Does anyone use a hand mixer? My Bodum hand mixer has just died, and even if I could get inside it, spares are not available. So - I need a new one. I'm just making 1 x 900g/2lb loaf at a time, so not huge volumes; I don't really have the space for a stand mixer. Does anyone have any experience of hand mixers and bread dough? Your thoughts are appreciated!
There's really no reason at all to use a mixer for a 900g loaf.
