Hi everyone! I’m new to the site fairly new to baking I’ve been trying to make several loaves of bread and when I add all of the ingredients into my mixer it never really fully comes in to forming a dough ball is still very sticky and loose I’m not sure exactly what to do II have been adding extra flour but I don’t wanna end up with a dense loaf so if any of you have any suggestions I’d appreciate it.

What recipe are you following? What flour are you using?
Japanese milk bread from King Arthur. AP flour.
The recipe says to use bread flour, not AP flour.
Are you weighing your ingredients, or using volume measurements?
