G'day yeast heads,
my name is steve, a chef by trade, have always had a secret romance with baking bread (which was mostly yeasted), it always intrigued me, but never really had proper training, recently i have embarked on a sourdough journey that involved a lot of research that got me here the TFL website where i always found answers. it made sense that i join the amazing group so thanks in advance for having me.
what is the end game of all of this i ask myself, the answer is usually 'not sure', maybe for shits and giggles as we say, maybe just learn a new skill or maybe a micro bakery one day, who knows... for now just a copious amounts of tasty bread.
here are some photos of my latest bake, caraway and leatherwood honey and my sourdough starter, BOB
And wow! Nice loaf!
thanks, danni!
Loaf looks good. BOB seems to be very happy too.
