Do you need to knead after autolyse?

I've started doing extended autolyses until the dough passes the windowpane test. Do I still have to do the stretch and folds?

Stretch & fold is to rearrange the gluten network and to redistribute the yeasts and their food. So while you can also just do an autolyse, add the rest and just leave it to ferment, you will yield a much more superior product if you do a couple of S & F during bulk fermentation.
