We spent a couple of weeks on the west coast after Christmas and stayed in Seattle for a few days. While there we visited this Starbucks Reserve Roastery and it was well worth the detour. This is about the only Starbucks where I actually enjoyed more than the coffee. They roast coffee there and have a bakery on premises, one thing we enjoyed was a sourdough chocolate chip with sea salt bread with marmalade. I thought that I should be able to make that and today was the day and I think our copy was as good as the original. It was a flavour combination I would have never thought of on my own.
