Extruding Dough using a Piping Bag

Hi everyone. I usually make this bread roll that requires a very wet dough that is difficult to form. I've thought about simply extruding the dough using a piping bag. Has anyone tried doing this? If you have, I'd like to know about your results, you thought about it, etc. Thanks!
I've never done it, but it's a neat idea for making finger rolls.
