Hello. I'm Mike. A 'senior' citizen. Lived most of my life in London. But 3 years ago I emigrated up to Central Scotland, where I now live with my daughter and two chihuahuas.

At the moment I am strictly a bread machine guy having received my 3rd machine from Amazon only yesterday. I had a quick go with a packet bread mix today and it appears to have come out OK. Although I haven't tried to cut it as yet.

I am determined to have a go at making some manually eventually.

Also, my daughter is gluten intolerant, so G/F bread will be a frequent task.

If you need to know anything just shout, I'm based in Lincolnshire but there are folks here from all over the world sharing tips, ideas, troubleshooting skills and photos of delicious looking loaves. Many thanks. And I'm pleased to report that my first attempt with the new machine came out almost perfectly. The inside was beautifully soft and fluffy although the crust was a little on the tough side but still manageable.
