What are you going to put in / on them? Lobster rolls comes to mind ... :)

thank you ...not as crispy as I would like but I think I know why...so will try again...

macette, what recipe did you use for you rolls.

thanks, claudia

This is a youtube recipe from ALLRecipes, I wasn't that happy with them Claudia, thought they would be more crispy, but you might have better luck than me. I will try again...but he does explain the shaping well. So if you have a go at them let me know how you get on.....https://youtu.be/e-KvT1l-5AI .

but not quite right...was expecting crispy and didn't happen bit chewy....not to worry I will try again :-/

Hi Macette

I usually add 1 Tbsp olive oil & 1/2 - 1 Tbsp raw honey to my french & sourdough recipes even if the recipe doesn't call for it. I have found that my bread & rolls brown & crisp better. It's worth a try.

I also usually use a combo of flours rather the just one; bread, whole wheat, white whole wheat, or rye etc.

thanks for the link

Claudia

Thank you Claudia ...Yes will try that...I have been using honey instead of sugar and will try oil instead of butter and see what happens....
