new to bread making, so can i bake meat in my bread maker

Toast

Hello all, First post.  new to baking bread in a bread maker, getting good result for bread that i am baking. Was wondering if i get second machine that is the same. can i roast meat in my bread maker. Or what will happen if i use it for meat then for bread, tin foil will be used to protect the bucket tray. maybe to small for two food groups, smell of meat may stay in machine and go through to next bake. These machine are basically a mini oven from what i can see, so.

Made some scones today kneaded the scones in the machine, removed dough and mixer pad, rolled the scones and placed 6 in the bottom and use bake function. These turned out ok for first go, will have to make the six smaller, took about 40 hour to bake. Did not brown to much on the top but i forgot to paste to the top with egg/milk.

so excited, loving my bread maker, can't wait to try apple pie. brownies and meat pie. Looking for some adventurous bakes with the bread maker.

Thanks in advance.

Bread machines are great for making bread when you don't have the time or inclination to make it by hand. They are great because they do all the mixing, rising, knocking back, rising again and then baking.

For roasting meat, all you need is the last bit (i.e. the 'baking' part of the cycle). All the other features would be wasted. I'd suggest, if you are going to buy another machine anyway, that you look at something like this instead > Everyday-6-Quart-Roaster. It probably has more features you would want for roasting meat, and fewer of the features you don't need.

Sorry people i don/t have a lot of money and try to make do with what i have, it is sad that i got very few replies this is a GENNERAL discussion post section.  i also try to save power when i can, ( like that climate change thing and looking after the plant) oven + 2400watts, bread maker 400. Do the maths over 5 year. you do know that in a sock draw you can put more that sock in it.

i asked a very simple question to be stub. i quess this forum is full rich people. (sorry) normally how rich people are.
