Been sniffing around, what a great forum!! Love all the information and friendly suggestions.
Im a new baker (well, I hardly qualify as a baker, more of a meddler), but love making bread. I do have some beginner questions, but can't tell where to post.
I am just making a simple white bread that tastes nice, a nice crust too. However, it is not very tall after baking. I have some pictures and more details as well.

Simple white starts with a recipe and procedure ... so if you give us more info to go on, we can probably suggest something to try with the next bake. Also how did the dough feel and the temperature.
Pictures are great if you can manage to post them. It can be tricky so check the FAQ's at the top of the page. OR use a link.
