Lee Household Flour Mill coming back

Toast

Figured this deserved its own thread...

Lee Household Flour Mill from organicsbylee.com

From the other thread:

It looks like the new model had some improvements.  I like the idea of a smaller footprint, that was one downside of the older models.  I like the idea of a flour bowl, though when you read the manual, you see that it uses a cover while running, I made something similar for my older model, I didn't like trying to get all the flour out of the collection bag.   Also the on off switch is a nice upgrade.

Disclaimer: I did a little work on the website so I'm very biased! These guys put are putting a lot of TLC and engineering brainpower into making it great.

Thanks guys. Lots of sweat equity in that website. Barry, that link is now fixed :)

Yes the Lee Household Flour Mill is Made in the USA.

Link should work now, the note was out to the developer - I jumped the gun on my response. Pre-orders coming in, excited for launch!

If you go to your account, then hit the tab edit,  about 2/3rds the way down there is a check box that says receive email notifications of Private messages.  If you see the line that says Private Messages, but not the box, click on the words Private Messages, and the box should appear.

RE: CORN: Yellow field corn kernels may be too large to fit through the governor mechanism of most electric flour mills. Consider using a corn grinder to crack your own corn, purchasing cracked corn, or grinding smaller pop corn kernels.

I got one from craigslist, it has the bag but missing the hopper.

Also still can't find the option to enable emails from users.

Next challenge is finding a replacement hopper. It looks like a standard plastic hopper on the old ones but has a 2 inch opening.
