I'm very interested in the style of oven used in this video. I know it's made in Spain but I don't have any more information. Can anyone tell me the brand name of if there's a distributor of this oven or a similar one to contact?

I don't know anything about them; the video just intrigued me.
Me too and I'm pondering on opening up a bakery outside of Vegas. If I can't find the oven I want I'll just build a brick oven and do away with that huge expense.
Thanks Juan.

Thanks. I think I'll look up the company and see if they're online. I'm sure if they have a website they will share a bit more information. I don't know why I didn't think of that to begin with. :)
Why would you want a indirect wood fired oven when you could use something like natural gas. at bread baking temps, you will not notice the differance. Wood seems like a PIA for anything more than an occasional bake. I am new here. If I am missing something, I am sorry, just tell me.
It's not an ignorant question. Let me ask you this. Have you ever tried a loaf of sourdough bread that was baked in a wood burning fireplace vs. one cooked in a gas oven? Even the taste is slightly different. A lot of the best bakers only choose to bake with fire just as a lot of the best pizzerias choose the same option. Woodburning is just better imho. However, as I said, it's my opinion and if I'm going to pay then I want something I will enjoy. Also, if I can't find what I want I can build it myself and save thousands. You can't do that with a gas oven, can you?
Also, I want to say thank you to everyone who responded on this thread. I found the bakers on facebook that are featured in the video and have sent them a private message. Gotta love the power of the internet, eh?
Cheers,
Mark
Mark-
here is another bakery that uses this kind of giant white oven- a llopis- that I spent a week at: http://orchardhillbreadworks.com/Home.html. Amazing, amazing bread and people and I'm sure Noah, the owner, would be happy to tell you more about it. I too asked him about the differences between indirect wood heat vs gas/electric, which tend to be overstated. I think the differences have more to do with process than product honestly.
