Thanks. Diane. It could be a full meal and very healthy and nutritious and the perfect sweetness. I couldn't stop eating it. Yes, it is loaded with goodies. All the breads the 3gmas posted look wonderful. One of your breads is kind of similar to this one. No, we aren't in the same group but we are on the same team.
Thanks. I agree about being anxious to see all the breads being tested. I already want to try all the ones that have been posted.
Sorry for the fuzzy image. I'll work on that for the next post. Yes, it is the crumb shot.
Oh my word!!! yummy. This is a very easy recipe to do and the bread texture with the grains is nutty and moist. I ate one loaf and shared a loaf. The loaf that I shared did not last long and they are waiting for the book to release to get the recipe. So, it looks like I will be remaking this one to share again.
Thanks Ian. I was hesitant to put the name of the bread since no one else was naming them. I don't want to break my promise to Stan. But since it's okay to say the name.... it is Archipelago Bread.
I thought maybe you were in my group..by the looks of the bread, but guess not. I'll be baking my first loaf tomorrow. Does yours have raisins? It really looks good!
"My lips are sealed" as mini said. I don't know how much we can or can't say. So, I won't. Good luck on your bake tomorrow. I look forward to seeing your pics.
Hi Apple Betty, this looks really moreish - smeared with some honey.... I can't wait to get the book, all of the rye bakes look so good! Lovely bake, keep them coming!
Packed with goodies. I think I see pearl barley in there, some flaked grains (wheat or wheat bran?), probably some linseeds and I guess the 2 dark patches are molasses that didn't mix in uniformly. How did I do :-)?
Nice, Apple Betty! Thanks for sharing your pic, I think we all are anxious to see the many breads that will be tested.
Your image is a bit fuzzy, but can we assume this is the crumb? How did you feel about the recipe and how the bread turned out?
Welcome! Enjoy your task and please bring us more to see!
Cathy
That bread looks like a full meal! Nice crumb, and so loaded with goodies. Definitely can tell we are in different testing groups.
Happy Testing and Baking,
Diane

Very nice APPLE BETTY! So which bread is this? I emailed Stan and he doesn't have any issues divulging the names of the bread.

El Panadero what I will say is every ingredient mixed very well and the 2 dark patches are meant to be.....
