Incorporating sprouted lentils ala Tartine 3

Hi everyone.

I am trying to incorporate sprouted lentils via Chad Robertson's method as outlined in Tartine 3, so 1 hour into the bulk fermentation.

Since sprouted lentils are bigger than the grains that he typically describes in his book, should I coarsely chop them or give them a quick spin in the food processor? Or would incorporating them as is be okay?
