until you get enough flies:-)  The bread looks great as usual and has to be tasty.  Those ears are FPE's (Flying Pig's Ears).  Very serious bread Wing - Well Done and

Happy baking.

That is only one side of my three fly boxes, I am now well stocked for my trip. Besides, my sainted wife tells me I need to go fishing so I won't be so grumpy. She knows me all too well.

Thanks for the kind words on the bread. They will make some fine snadwiches and toast on my trip.

Cheers,

Wingnut

Not sure what l like more, the bread or the CDC Loop Wing Emerger!    A great loaf, beautiful crust & crumb.

Cheers Darwin, one of my favorite ties. It has knocked the skunk off many a day on the water.

Thanks for the kind words about the breads.

Cheers,

Wingnut

Excellent loaves Wingnut...you got super nice caramelization on that crust.  The bloom and scoring very nice too.  You use the same tool as me, Wilkinson razor blade on a wooden skewer.

I love spelt loaves so I may try a bit of spelt in my next levain loaf.  Thanks for the inspiration.

Gorgeous loaves, crust and crumb, Wingnut!

And good fishing!

You know, it does all tie together (no pun intended).

Cheers FF, thank for the kind words. I know it makes no difference to the fish but I enjoy tying my own. I used to push myself to tie all the way down to size 24 but now 18 is about as low as I will go.

Cheers,

Wingnut
