Digital Scale

Wow, $50 to $100 is inexpensive? I currently use http://www.amazon.com/Ozeri-Digital-Multifunction-Kitchen-Elegant/dp/B004164SRA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1387248366&sr=8-2&keywords=kitchen+scale and its accurate and has had no issues whatsoever. The only minor complaint I would have is that it doesn't measure very tiny amounts of salt and year very well. At the price you can't complain, however.

I use this.   I've had it a couple of years. Seems accurate enough, has a large capacity, and uses 'regular' AA batteries.

A U.S. nickel weighs exactly 5 grams.  10 will weigh 50 grams, etc. 

if you are wanting to measure small amount accurately you cannot go past these 0.1of a gram up to 100:200:300 and more. and cheap too

i bought mine on sale for $12, although $20 isn't bad. Accurate to 1g, measures grams, ounces, and pounds. Also had tare function.

It weighs accurately in Pounds, Ounces, Grams. The range is 1 gram to 11 pounds. I own two of them and have had them for over 5 years. They still work fine for me and are very accurate. The scale uses 2 AA batteries, which last over a year between changes. The unit and buttons are well sealed, as I have dropped flour on them many times and it just wipes off.
