Just thought with all my experimenting I would make a basic Sourdough loaf just so I would not forget what brought me down this road.

I see by your photo we have the same bonnets and baskets for our doughs :-)

I noticed the beautiful loaf too :-).  Lovely color.

Spring is here.  Snow one day.  Sunny and warm the next.  3 ducks in our front yard this morning which is very early for them to show up.  They don't usually appear around here until Mayish.  Wonder if it means that we are in for a very early summer.....They wouldn't tell me. Just waddled off when my daughter went out the front door.

Spring???I think winter forgot it's supposed to get lost.  We are in for some potential snow tomorrow!  I for one have had enough...

Great oven spring, lovely grignette and a beautiful golden crust. Loaves as good as this never fails to put a smile on my face so, thank you. :)

Any chance of a crumb shot too?
