I'm a 65 year old retiree.  I've always loved cooking and have been actively learning and practising the craft since I was 12.  I married a farm girl of Ukrainian descent, between us we have become pretty good cooks.  One thing we never got really involved in was baking.  Between kids and careers there never seemed to be time enough.  One of my goals in retirement was to become proficient in baking.  I've finally had some success after eliminating old flour, an unreliable oven thermostat and lack of attention to the need to knead.
