I just made Danish using M. Suas' recipe from his Advanced Bread and Pastry. So this is what Danish is supposed to taste; I've only had the 2nd rate versions from stores before. I have leftover pastry cream and frangipane. Can they be frozen? Log in or register to post comments cream and frangipane yes and maybe the frangipane can be frozen but it will be ok in the fridg for about 2 months if the pastry cream was thickened with cornstarch no it will break down when thawed out if it was thickened with flour then yes as long as you thaw it in the fridg. if it was thickned naturaly (eggs only) again it will break down if frozen Log in or register to post comments nbicomputers, This is very helpful.
