Thanks to Floyd

This is that time of year when we can thank Floyd for his hard work keeping the site running, sharing his bread-baking adventures and providing access to an informative site. Note to Floyd: Is your name and address up to date in FAQs ?

From hear ye, hear ye ...

And Floyd has been a rock since the beginning. He is the secret sauce that makes TFL work like no other social networking site. It remains welcoming and supportive of new students of bread making while providing a place for some of us to capture historical records that appear no place else.

Thank you Floyd!

They're very different proclamations.

One is an exhortation to listen.

The other is a statement of agreement.

Not at all the same.

Checking the FAQ... Yes, I my contact in for there is correct.

You all are very kind but it feels unwarranted. There are many very kind and helpful people on this site who provide far more assistance to other folks than I do. Particularly of late, yes, I've kept the lights on and the spam to a minimum, but the community really has been managing itself.

I am glad to hear this site is still encouraging and helpful to so many people.

Floyd, I wonder if anyone else knows how to keep the site up and running in case you ever feel it's time to bow out.  It's always good to have a backup plan.
