Dough Hydration Calculator

I am looking for a simple excel spreadsheet to calculate hydration. I want it to contain conversion from the units i put in

Not sure what you are asking for, since hydration values will be the same for any units as long as the flour and water weights are in the same units.

Hello there, I think I can help you find what you're looking for.

To access a sample spreadsheet, visit metricsbaking.com. Once there, go to the Guides & Services section & down to the Sample Spreadsheet. (Sign up to download the sheet).
When you have the spreadsheet, navigate to the change & record tab (rows 75 to 79) where you can modify the Measure, Conversion factor, and water content % of each ingredient as per your preference.
Flour can range from 120-170g in a cup. Water 236 to 284g. Depending on where you are in the world and what system you use. As all cups are not created equal!
Head to the Create & Bake tab. You will see your conversion factor above each ingredient.
Start generating a recipe and if it requires 2 cups of flour of differing types, insert the quantities to the cells of the items, and the sheet will calculate the gram equivalent based on your conversion factor. You can then add that to your recipe (Repeat the process for other ingredients as necessary). (Sample below)
Water is added in grams, and the sheet calculates the hydration for you. If the hydration percentage is too high or too low, you can adjust the water weight. The sheet will recalculate the hydration instantly. You can create a recipe card with all the ingredient weights and percentages using the sheet's built-in features.
Additionally, the sheet has several conversion tables and generators, and you can find how-to guides on both the sheet and the website.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
