malsovit bread
Malsovit bread was a product of the 80's. I was first introduced to it by a Dr. Cooper in Marietta, Ga. I think he was an endocrinologist or at least was at the time specializing in weight loss. He was colaborating with a Dutch doctor of which I cannot remember the name. Dr Cooper published a book called The Dutch Diet and in it he credited the Dutch doctor with formulating the recipe for Malsovit bread. In the 80's and 90's the bread was made and sold at local bakeries. One of the owners of a bakery in Georgia told me the dry ingredients had to be ordered in large bags and was a special order that took weeks to receive. He would not give me informtion as to where to order the item. It was almost like he was protecting a trade secret or something. It made me wonder if maybe he was ordering from overseas, maybe the Dutch doctor. If someone is better at researching and investigation than I maybe this info will help to find Malsovit bread. One last thing is that the bread was sold by Three Brothers Bakery in Houston Texas but I don't know if they ship.https://www.3brothersbakery.com/
