German Rye Rolls

I made these german rye rolls. In the total % of flours, including sourdough, I used 55% stoneground rye flour and 45% regular bread flour. These rolls also contains some butter and honey.

Your sourdough rolls look great! Stanley Ginsberg's, rye roll formula worked a treat for me! I believe these are 100% rye. I don't remember for certain.

 

Your rolls look just as good rye rolls should look like.

Agree with hanseata, these are good looking rye rolls in the German style.  I have travelled often and lived for a short while in Germany.  I miss the Brotkultur!
