sweet bagels ! I need help
hy my name is tommy and I'm trying to make sweet bagels ! I created blue berry , banana nut and cranberry walnut how ever they are not sweet ! they tast like there names but the are not what I want for example banana nut bread is sweet so I wanted to come up with a banana nut bagel and no matter what I try they just aint sweet ! can yall help me ! p.s. I tried adding white sugar and when I do they wont rise they stay flat is that because of the white sugar !

You could try adding a little stevia to the recipe. It will give sweetness, but has none of the other properties of sugar that would counteract a good rise. Don't add too much, however, or you will get a bitter aftertaste.
