Fig Rye ... repost
This is from Michael Ruhlman's blog (ruhlman.com) and actually comes from the MAD conference via Carri Thurman of Two Sisters Bakery in Homer Alaska. The entire recipe is two recipes, one for Fig Rye and one for Beet-cured Rockfish. You TFL'ers might be interested in the Fig Rye (or both if you have a big supply of rockfish sitting around). I have not made this, i am just passing along an interesting recipe.
