Bakeware
I love my cast iron Lodge Logic Combo Cooker for baking round loaves. It produces breads that rise perfectly with a crisp crust that I can not replicate otherwise. Can anyone suggest a similiar type product for oval loaves?
KAF has a great option - http://www.kingarthurflour.com/shop/items/long-covered-baker

I brought my oval cast iron from the cajun cast iron place. The price is reasonable $24 for the 4 qt. casserole pot.

Thanks to all for your helpful suggestions.
Does anyone have experience or thoughts comparing results from baking bread in a cast iron cookers with clay cookers?
Thank you, Frank
This is a bit pricier, but cajun cast iron has this oval pot that should be big enough to handle an oval loaf of any size
