Neat!  I assume that you used the pan mentioned and pictured in a recent post.  Now, I ask you, what are the yellow quills?

for a Rehruecken cake.  Sorry, I can't say "saddle of venison" it just doesn't sound right or appetizing, goes against my grain and doesn't do a thing for me.   No wonder the forms are not well known, but if you show the above cake to an Austrian... there is only one name.

Rehrücken  (Ray rook ken) roll the "r's" if you can but ever so softly, like the smooth rich chocolate it's made from.
