Can you give a brief description? I tried to upload a pic on Monday and tried again
Tuesday..both times an error message. I haven't had any problems before.

Drupal is the content management system that this site runs on. It provides 90% of the site functionality, such as forums, posting and comments, user access, and, yes, file upload.
What kind of error did you get uploading? And how were you trying to do it? I just uploaded an image and it worked fine. I clicked "Create new content" and then the type "image".
Hmm.. I just tried to upload the pic again and now what happens is that it takes
quite a while to load and then I end up with a blank page..no error message any more.
I will have my husband..the puter wiz..try it.
Also..just a comment..when you click on the favorite recipes (to the right) what
comes up are postings starting on say June 2 and working backwards.
AND..THANK YOU for such a great site. I've learned tons and appreciate all the time
you spend doing this.
Be kind, I'm a beginner... I can't seem to load a picture, it's a jpeg image. I clicked on create content, then chose (click) image. Filed out a Title and clicked Choose file, brouser appeared and I chose a pic file, the name of the file appeared and I selected preview. the Error message reads:
The selected file /tmp/tmp_DHHj2Y could not be uploaded, because the destination files/images/temp/Sarah_s_Bread_Chu_Zhou_City_2006.jpg is not properly configured.
The directory files/images is not writable
It means I didn't get everything quite right when I restored the site from a backup a couple of weeks ago when my hard drive died. You did nothing wrong.
Blast. No, it is nothing wrong on your end. I just forgot to install something else.
I think it is fixed, but I won't be able to verify it by uploading a bread image until tonight. You are welcome to try it in the meantime, but don't be discouraged if it still isn't working. I *will* get it all back together soon.

Good luck ;-)

FYI..I had my husband take a look at why I couldn't upload..the problem
was the picture file size was too large. He resized the picture for me..

I believe it is fixed now. Please try again.
Now the error message is
Make sure you have a working image toolkit installed and enabled, for more information see: the settings page
Is this something I have to install into my Mac? I tried clicking "the settings page" And told access denied. I'll try again later. :) Mini Oven
