Not getting notifications of new comments
This seems to have happened sometime in the last month or two and I didn't realize it until recently.
When you add a comment to an existing thread, if you check the box at the bottom that says "Notify me when new comments are posted" and then "All comments" below that, you are supposed to receive email notification when new posts to that thread are made.
I am no longer receiving them.
On my account page, the "Receive comment follow-up notification e-mail" is set to "All comments", so that isn't the problem
Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas on how to solve it?
(I guess this will be a test of whether or not I receive said notifications for threads which I start...)

No - but i have it turned off. I was checking after a long conversation. Enjoy!
I forgot - there is a setting in the account (2 places as i recall - but my recall is off) to turn this on or off. Enjoy!

If I get the email notification, and in the email accidentally click on the link for "You can stop receiving emails" - I've done this a few times - then I don't get any more comment notifications for that thread. My remedy is to open the thread from the TFL site, make a comment, and re-check the box for "Notify me when new comments are posted".

Too bad, it would have been an easy fix.

Well, at least we know it's working for some...
I've noticed that I don't get any notifications from my new posts until I've responded to at least one comment. I just have to go back to my new posts to check regularly.

I've had that happen in the past. Somehow the software behind TFL determined that I was an email problem/spammer/whatever and Floyd had to reset some switch in his software to allow email to me to be processed normally.
That sounds very similar if not identical. How do I contact Floyd?
