Simple Garlic-Potato-Green Onion-Red Pepper Rolls
Simple is good right now. Day 17 of our county's shelter-in-place, it's rained all day, and no savory baked goods in the freezer to accompany corned beef hash. We needed to finish the beef, and had everything else. I increased and tweaked a basic straight-dough green onion-potato roll recipe which uses potato flakes, added some McCormick roasted garlic-red bell pepper seasoning, started at 1:45 and they were done by 5:15. Sent half across the street to neighbors who are buying dairy and produce for us weekly.
I haven't been to a grocery store since 3/19. The new shopping is wearing gloves & masks, and meeting people scattered in a parking lot at an Azure drop-off this week. The bonus was gaining info on a local Frontier co-op, fresh eggs every 2 weeks & good Petaluma butter via the Azure coordinator I just met across a car, and a nearby outdoor produce market.
