Baguette, fast and easy :-)

Recipe

White wheat flour 100%

Water 65%

Starter 20%

Yeast ( fresh ) 2.4%

Salt 2%

This mixture was a test ... with the same mix I want to make pizza.

This bread was a test to assess an economic flour ...

The final taste is average, next time lengthen the time to rise and insert a poolish.

 

Maybe it needed more steam ...

You always make beautiful baguettes! I wonder if your oven will allow you to make them longer... :)

No my oven is 15,74 x 15,74 inch, 40cm x 40 cm ( in Italy ) baguette measure 60 cm...o 23,62 inch :-)

Every time I have to do the stunts to put baguette in the oven with the peel  :-)

The crumb looks beautiful :) and the scoring is perfect!

I would have made then darker though.

But they still look great.

P.S. I made focaccia on Sunday, I'm making it again this weekend. You Italians really come up with good food!
