Birthday Chocolate Crusted Orange Cheese Cake with Ganache, Truffles and Chocolate Shavings
Today is my wife's birthday. Who wouldn't want a chocolate crusted orange flavored cheese cake with an orange flavored; chocolate ganache, truffles and chocolate shavings for toppings? Home made aranchello makes this a special birthday cake.

Sorry to hear you were under the weather. Hopefully you will better soon and back to old baking self. If you were my neighbor, we would eating a fairly fine, if monochromatic, cheese cake right now!
Looks and sounds delish but what is aranchell? Couldn't find it on google, even!
Aranchello is like limonchello, an Italian liquor, only made from the outer most skin of an orange instead of lemon.
Here is some being made.
Wow DA...what an incredible looking cake....if it tastes as good as it looks I may gain 10 lbs. just looking.
My wife is the cake baker in my household so I will have to show her your creation.

It tasted pretty good too, but what huge truffle doesrn't? You might want to get a nice dinner and bottle of wine to go with that cake you hubby will be pleased to make...... to keep you slaving in that hot kitchen churing out that fine bread :-).
