Bread braiding videos
Due to my interest in learning how to braid bread dough I examined a series of videos on
the subject and the following is my evaluation of them.
Caveats
Although sometimes it is easier to understand a sequence of stills this comment focuses
only on videos and on the braiding of the dough, not on its intrinsic quality.

The easiest and most entertaining I've found is from New York Bakers' Stan Ginsberg:
This one's a 6-strand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQSf27mTAto
And here's the high 4-strand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TOKt18P7z4&context=C277ecADOEgsToPDskKfDDu8dssr9wLbeCy48AyW. (With that one, plus the 5-strand in Stan and Norm's book, I find it best to turn the finished braid on its side for stability, still giving the beautiful twisted effect.) I guess you'd call these demos by a "pro"--and better than good. Brilliant idea to keep the positions, not the strands, numbered in place. Lively music too.
