Yippee, you could bake an epic bread in whatever the vessel. Starting at the low end some examples are:

A clay pot over a hole dug by hand into the ground.

A vintage 17th century wood fired stone oven

An early 19th century coal fired brick oven

Any modern day appliance from high end down to low end.

What I am trying to describe is the baker's skills being the most important thing. The tools used are secondary.

These are both excellent examples of the king of enriched bread. Even an expert would be hard pressed to choose one over the other.

Best regards,

Will F.

My guess:  The right one is the bread machine.

What great browning you got! This result is really good see for enriched doughs in bm.

Is your next try an air fryer?

I would be surprised to learn that a bread machine would cause the kind of browning that the photo seems to show on the loaf on the left.

I thought the bread machine, being an enclosed environment dedicated to baking bread, would have done a better job of baking the dough. That is why I picked the one that looked perfectly baked as the bread machine thinking it would have done a better job.

is the blonde strip down the middle, caused by heat loss through the Zo's viewing window. Yippee has since fixed this.
